The legendary Paulo Camoranesi has taken charge of yet another exotic team


Cypriot club Karmiotissa announces a principal agreement with world football star Mauro Camoranesi.
Details: The legendary former defender of the Italian national team will become the head coach of the Cypriot club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Reminder: The 47-year-old Camoranesi played for Verona and Juventus during his football career and made 55 appearances for the Italian national team. In 2006, he became a world champion with the Italian team at the tournament held in Germany.
Mauro began his coaching career in Mexico, working with the teams Coras, Tigres, and Cafetaleros. Later, he moved to Slovenia, where he managed the clubs Tabor and Maribor. In the 2023/24 season, Camoranesi was the head coach of the Maltese club Floriana.
This season, Aris Limassol has earned five points in five matches and currently occupies 11th place (out of 14) in the Cypriot championship.
