French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris from Tottenham has signed a contract with the MLS team Los Angeles.

The legendary goalkeeper has penned a one-year deal with the American club, along with an option to extend it for an additional two seasons.

At 37 years old, Lloris spent over 11 years with Tottenham. Wearing the London club's jersey, the French goalkeeper participated in 444 matches across various tournaments. He served as the team's captain for the majority of his tenure. Lloris moved to the United Kingdom from Lyon for €12 million.

Lloris is a revered figure for the French national team, culminating his international appearances a year ago. He holds the record for the most appearances as a goalkeeper for Les Bleus, having played 145 matches. With the French squad, he clinched the World Cup title in 2018.

In 2023, Los Angeles made it to the MLS Cup playoff final, but they were defeated by the Columbus Crew.
