The legend endures. Neuer and Bayern Munich will start contract negotiations this year

Manuel Neuer's contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire next summer, in June 2025. The Munich leadership is prepared to offer him a new deal.

Details: According to insider Florian Plettenberg, both parties are expected to start concrete negotiations regarding the contract extension by the end of 2024.

Despite this, Alexander Nübel, currently on loan at Stuttgart, is being considered as a direct replacement for Neuer. He will remain on loan until 2026. Additionally, Bayern is monitoring Jonas Urbig from Cologne and Bart Verbruggen from Brighton.

Reminder: Joshua Kimmich's future at Bayern remained uncertain, as he was contemplating whether to extend his contract. However, it seems the midfielder will indeed stay with the Munich team, although this is contingent on certain conditions.
