The conflict between Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus will continue into 2024, according to Goal.

The legal dispute between the footballer and the club may be resolved in April of next year. The arbitration court will deliver its verdict in spring, with another hearing possibly taking place the following month. Both parties appeared in court on December 20 to present their arguments.

In June 2023, Ronaldo filed a lawsuit against Juventus for non-payment of wages amounting to €19.5 million during the COVID-19 pandemic. Juventus insists that Ronaldo rejected a salary proposal to join Manchester United in August 2021.

On July 10, 2018, the official announcement was made regarding the 33-year-old Portuguese forward's transfer to Juventus, signing a four-year contract. The transfer fee amounted to €100 million, setting a record for players over 30 years old and becoming the most expensive acquisition in the history of Italian clubs.

On the evening of August 27, 2021, Manchester United announced on their official Twitter account the return of Cristiano Ronaldo. According to The Athletic, the transfer fee was €15 million plus €8 million in bonuses.
