The leader of Napoli is negotiating with the club about extending his contract

Napoli's Georgian winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, is in negotiations with the club regarding the extension of his contract. According to Nicolò Schira, agents of the 23-year-old player are discussing the possibility of signing a new agreement, which would be valid until the summer of 2029.

The new contract entails a significant increase in the salary of the Georgian player. Currently, his existing agreement with Napoli runs until June 2027, with an annual salary of 1.5 million euros. It is noted that Kvaratskhelia is receiving modest wages compared to other key players in the team. For example, contracts of players like Osimhen or Di Lorenzo involve much more substantial amounts.

It is worth mentioning that Transfermarkt values the player at 80 million euros. In the current season, Kvaratskhelia has played 34 matches for Napoli, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.
