The last semifinalist of the Club World Cup has been determined

In another quarterfinal match of the Club World Cup, Al-Ahly from Egypt faced the team from Saudi Arabia, Al-Ittihad.

The first half was characterized by an even battle between both teams, but only the representatives from Egypt managed to score. In the 21st minute, Maaloul converted a penalty, and in the 45th minute, Karim Benzema also had the chance to score from the penalty spot, but he was unsuccessful.

After the break, Al-Ahly solidified their advantage. In the 59th minute, Al-Shahat doubled the lead for the Egyptians, and in the 62nd minute, Ashour made it 3-0. Al-Ittihad responded with only one goal scored in injury time. Karim Benzema finally found his moment, but it had no impact on the overall outcome.

Al-Ahly emerged victorious with a 3-1 score, advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinal, they will face Fluminense on December 18th.
