A significant historical event occurred during the latest NASCAR race, though it can hardly be deemed a pleasant one.

Details: According to reports from Lucky Dog on Track - NASCAR Edition, after 185 laps of intense competition in Talladega, a massive crash involving 28 cars took place. This incident marks the largest "Big One" in NASCAR history.

Drivers Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano attempted to close the gap but triggered a chain reaction, sending cars spinning and reshuffling the playoff picture. Seven drivers immediately retired from the race, resulting in a red flag situation.

Reminder: Michael Schumacher's daughter, 27-year-old Gina, married her beloved Ian Betke at the family villa in Mallorca on Saturday. It has been reported that the seven-time Formula 1 world champion may have been present at the ceremony, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.
