"The key is to regain balance": Cucurella and Puma humorously address his boots against Tottenham

Sportswear brand Puma has shown it knows how to laugh at itself, cleverly playing on the situation involving Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella’s boots during the match against Tottenham, reports Daily Mail.

Cucurella, who wears Puma boots, appeared in a new promotional campaign for his sponsor. Puma posted a photo on their X page featuring the Spaniard standing next to a warning sign for a slippery floor. The post was humorously captioned: "It’s not how you slip, it’s how you bounce back."

The self-deprecating humor has clearly earned the company points, as followers reacted positively in the comments to the playful jab.

To recap, during the game against Spurs, Cucurella slipped twice on the pitch, leading to two goals conceded by Chelsea. The Spaniard eventually switched boots mid-game and later posted a photo of himself throwing his boots into the trash.

Luckily, these mishaps didn’t affect the overall result. Despite Cucurella’s errors, Chelsea managed to secure a 4–3 victory over Tottenham.
