The Cameroon women’s national team beat Benin’s Amazons this Saturday 11 July.
Cameroon’s women’s national team successfully completed their warm-up match against Benin ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place from 25 July to 16 August in Morocco. Facing Benin’s women’s team on 11 July at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé, the Cameroonian side secured a convincing victory.
The Lionesses had, however, been trailing before turning the game around to beat the Amazones 3–1. Nina Nguele scored twice, whilst Ngah Manga netted once. For Benin, Gnammi Yolande scored her side’s only goal.
