The Indomitable Lionesses receive support from head coach David Pagou ahead of WAFCON 2026
Cameroon’s head coach visited the Mundi Complex to cheer on the women’s national team ahead of their departure for Morocco.
Cameroon’s women’s national team is finalising preparations for the African Women’s Nations Cup, scheduled to take place from 25 July to 16 August in Morocco. The Indomitable Lionesses wrapped up their preparations last Saturday with a 3–1 victory over Benin in a friendly.
The day after that match, the Cameroonian players were visited by the manager of Cameroon’s men’s national team, David Pagou. The Cameroonian manager travelled to the Mundi Complex, where the Indomitable Lionesses are holding their training camp.
David Pagou offered advice to the players and expressed his support for the Cameroonian team ahead of the tournament. In Group D, Cameroon will face Ghana, Mali and Cape Verde in the group stage.
