Liverpool attacking star Florian Wirtz has found himself at the center of a blockbuster transfer battle.

Details: According to football insider Ekrem Konur, four leading European giants — Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid — are closely monitoring the performances of the 23-year-old German playmaker at the Merseyside club.

The European giants are applying serious pressure and tracking virtually every move the German star makes on the pitch. Despite the midfielder’s key role in the English side, the top clubs are hoping to seize even the slightest opportunity to open potential negotiations over his transfer.

Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 and quickly established himself as one of the team’s key playmakers. His outstanding footballing vision, dribbling ability and consistent productivity have made the midfielder one of the most sought-after figures on the international stage, despite the fact that Wirtz has yet to fully show his potential.

However, the Merseyside club have no intention of letting one of the project’s leaders leave, and any potential bidding war would require the suitors to make a colossal financial outlay.

It is worth noting that the German midfielder has been playing for Liverpool since the summer of 2025, remaining a fundamental figure in the heart of midfield. The authoritative Transfermarkt portal values the 23-year-old’s current market value at €85 million.
