The head coach of Spain shared his emotions after the victory at the Euro
The Spanish national team defeated England 2-1 in the final of the 2024 European Championship. La Furia Roja's head coach, Luis de la Fuente, shared his emotions.
According to the coach, they were not the favorites of the tournament. He simply wanted the team to be competitive.
"I just want my players to continue improving. This is a wonderful group, and they should all be proud. They make the job significantly easier. Zubimendi? He played a fantastic second half. He is another one of our great players, and I would like to thank him and say that I am fortunate to coach this fantastic group of players.
I have always said that we have 26 excellent players. Any one of them can play at any time. They have demonstrated this whenever we made changes. They always maintained the level expected of them," said de la Fuente.
It is worth noting that this title is Spain's fourth European Championship, making La Furia Roja the sole leaders in this regard.
