The head coach of Real praised the performances of Vinícius and Mbappé in the match against Betis

On Sunday, September 1, Real Madrid hosted Betis at the Santiago Bernabéu, securing a convincing 2-0 victory.

Moreover, Kylian Mbappé scored his first goals for Real Madrid in La Liga. He netted the first goal in the 67th minute, followed by a second eight minutes later. Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, was asked whether Mbappé had relieved some pressure after this game.

"You should ask him that question. We never put pressure on him to score. Viní gave him the penalty; it's important for him to score, but we value the team's overall performance more, and it was better than in the last match.

Vinícius showed great selflessness by giving Mbappé the penalty. They have a good relationship," the Italian stated.

It's worth noting that Mbappé scored his first goal for Real Madrid against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup.

The star forward will have the opportunity to add to his goal tally after the international break. On September 14, Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad away, and three days later, they will host Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League.
