The head coach of Fiorentina is leaving the club

Fiorentina's head coach Vincenzo Italiano has decided to leave the club at the end of this season, as reported by Repubblica.

"I leave different and improved; I will forever carry the purple people in my heart. These have been three positive years, we all cried in the dressing room. I gave everything; it's right to move on," the coach stated.

It is worth recalling that we recently reported that Bologna decided to bet on Fiorentina's head coach Vincenzo Italiano, who yesterday lost the Conference League final to Greek side Olympiacos (0-1 after extra time).

It is reported that the fifth-placed team from the previous Serie A season intends to advance negotiations with the 46-year-old coach in the coming hours. Notably, Italiano's contract with Fiorentina runs until June 30, 2024.

The head coach of the "Viola" has been with the team since July 2021 and has led the Florence-based team in 161 matches, winning 78 of them.
