Due to his lack of playing time at Lille, Mohamed Bayo has been loaned to Royal Antwerp FC for the rest of the season.
The Guinean attacker, 26, has had difficulty establishing himself in Lille's starting lineup, frequently playing second fiddle to Jonathan David and, more recently, facing extra competition with the acquisition of Chuba Akpom.
Although Bayo has been linked to a Premier League transfer to Ipswich Town, he has chosen to play on loan in Belgium with Antwerp, with no option to buy.
In the summer, he'll be back in Lille. This action comes after Lille needed to complete Bayo's temporary transfer and balance their loaned players.
