All signs suggest that the legendary central midfielder Ilkay Gündogan will not remain a Barcelona player this season.
According to Gerard Romero, Gündogan has agreed to a transfer after discussions with head coach Hansi Flick. He understands that he won't have regular playing time, and his departure would provide the club with financial flexibility for new signings.
Barcelona is currently waiting for suitable offers.

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo reports that Gündogan could return to Manchester City this summer. He is also attracting interest from Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.
Gündogan joined Barcelona in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City. In 51 appearances for the Catalan side, he registered 5 goals and 14 assists.
As a reminder, in the first round of La Liga, Barcelona secured a 2-1 away victory over Valencia, thanks to a brace from Robert Lewandowski.
