Bayer Leverkusen continues its preparation to defend its first-ever Bundesliga title.

According to Kicker, the "pharmacists" have reached an agreement on the transfer of 19-year-old central defender Jeanuël Belocian. However, the transfer fee has not been disclosed yet.

It is reported that Bayer and Belocian have already fully agreed on a contract until the summer of 2029.

Within Bayer's squad, Belocian is expected to replace Jonathan Tah, who has agreed to move to Bayern Munich.

In the recently concluded season, the 19-year-old product of Renné played 27 matches for his hometown team.

It's worth noting that in the entire previous season, Bayer suffered only one defeat in all competitions – in the Europa League final against Atalanta. The team managed by Xabi Alonso not only won the Bundesliga but also the German Cup.
