The friendly match between the Cameroon women’s team and Morocco will no longer take place

The Indomitable Lionesses had, however, already been called up for this training camp.

The Cameroon women’s team was due to face Morocco this June as part of their preparations for the African Women’s Nations Cup scheduled for this summer. However, this international friendly, which was initially due to be played in France before being moved to Morocco, will not go ahead after all.

According to sources, the Moroccan authorities have decided that no matches may be played on Moroccan soil during June due to health precautions. Consequently, the scheduled matches, including the one between Cameroon and Morocco, will no longer take place.

Cameroon’s women’s national team will therefore have to revise its plans for the international break. Another training camp is reportedly being considered for the Indomitable Lionesses as part of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for this summer.
