Former world champion Tony Bellew shared his expectations for the unified heavyweight bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, scheduled for May 18.

The Englishman believes that Fury is not stronger than Usyk, but may win due to his larger size.

"The only way to beat Usyk is with size. Because someone is just bigger and stronger than him. Tyson Fury is not a better boxer than Usyk, but perhaps he's just too big and too strong. We'll find out soon," said Bellew in a conversation with Spinbet.

It is worth recalling that Usyk defeated Bellew by knockout in the eighth round in 2018. In the eighth round, the Ukrainian moved forward, literally cornering the Briton with punches from a distance, and eventually knocked him out with a left hook.

Initially, the first fight between Usyk and Fury was planned for February 17 but was postponed due to a cut Fury sustained in training camp.

Earlier, the Gypsy King sent a very menacing message to his future opponent.
