Experienced forward José Callejón has decided not to retire from professional football.
Today, the 37-year-old Spaniard officially signed a contract with Marbella, a team in Spain's Segunda B. The contract is set to last until the end of the next season.
Callejón's last club was Granada, which was relegated from La Liga to Segunda at the end of the previous season.
Callejón is best known for his stints with Real Madrid, Napoli, and Fiorentina. At Real Madrid, his boyhood club, Callejón made 77 appearances, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists.
His longest spell was with Napoli, where he played 349 matches, netting 82 goals and registering 79 assists.
Last season, Marbella ascended from the fourth tier of Spanish football to the third.
