Former PSG center-back Thilo Kehrer is making a return to Ligue 1, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

According to sources, the player will move to Monaco on a loan deal with an obligatory purchase option set at €11 million. The loan fee is reported to be €500,000. The clubs exchanged the necessary documents during the night. Romano added that Thilo Kehrer has already undergone a medical examination, and the transfer will be officially announced shortly.

Kehrer made his debut for Schalke's first team on February 6, 2016, in the 20th round of the Bundesliga. That match remained his only appearance for the team that season, but in the following season, he played 16 matches and scored one goal in the league. In the 2017/18 season, he became a key player for Schalke, featuring in 28 matches and scoring three goals in the league.

On August 16, 2018, Kehrer moved to Paris Saint-Germain for €37 million, playing under the management of fellow countryman Thomas Tuchel. In the summer of 2022, he transferred to West Ham in England.
