The footballer from AS Roma who lost consciousness on the field has been discharged from hospital

Roma defender Evan Ndicka, who felt unwell during the match against Udinese, has been discharged from the hospital.

It's reported that the player underwent comprehensive cardiological examinations of the first and second levels, and tests for heart pathology turned out to be negative. The latest examinations have shown that the player's life is not at risk.

He has been released from the hospital and will undergo further heart checks in Rome.

It is worth recalling that Ndicka lost consciousness during the Serie A match against Udinese. Following this incident, the Udinese vs. Roma match was interrupted in the 72nd minute with the score at 1-1. The players decided not to complete the game.

It is currently unknown when the replay will take place. It is likely to occur next week, between the 33rd and 34th rounds of Serie A.

Ndicka joined Roma last summer as a free agent, having previously played for Eintracht Frankfurt. In the current season, he has played 27 matches in all competitions and provided 2 assists.
