The football legend made his first throw at the season-opening game in MLB

The legendary footballer Neymar flew to Miami to kick off the season in Major League Baseball (MLB), America's premier baseball league.

The former Barcelona and PSG forward attended a game between the Miami Marlins and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Neymar executed the ceremonial first pitch in the game, which was caught by the reigning MLB champion, Luis Arraez.

Miami Marlins also presented Neymar with a club jersey bearing the number 10.

The match ended with a victory for the Pittsburgh Pirates with a score of 6-5 in 12 innings.

As a reminder, yesterday Neymar stated that he would like to spend at least one season in the USA championship, as he wants to play on the same team as Lionel Messi again, who is currently playing for Inter Miami.
