The second leg of the quarter-final match in the African Football League took place between Egyptian side Al-Ahly and Simba from Tanzania. In the first leg, these teams played to a 2-2 draw.

In this game, Al-Ahly was considered the clear favorite. In the first half, they had more ball possession and several opportunities to open the scoring. On the 27th minute, a goal was scored by Kahraba, but it was disallowed after a VAR review due to an offside.

Simba unexpectedly took the lead after a well-executed maneuver. On the 68th minute, Sadio Kanoute was able to score a goal, which put the Tanzanian team ahead. However, this lead didn't last long, as on the 76th minute, the score was equalized again. Kahraba managed to score a "clean" goal.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but Al-Ahly advanced to the semi-finals due to a higher number of away goals.
