Chelsea's head coach Maurizio Pochettino commented on the FA Cup match against Preston.

The Argentine coach did not hide that the first half from his team was disappointing. According to him, Chelsea started the match uncertainly.

"Yes, it was a good victory. The first half was disappointing. We didn't start in the best way. At halftime, I told the players that we need to raise the level of energy and speed to match Preston in this aspect; our opponent was charged," said Pochettino.

He noted that the second half was radically different. Chelsea dominated, created chances, and deserved to win. Pochettino says that the players showed insufficient desire in the first half, and the opponent was full of energy. In this regard, they were better. Maurizio was disappointed with this, but in the second half, the team returned to their level and earned a well-deserved victory.

Pochettino also added that they don't care who Chelsea faces next in the FA Cup. The main thing is for the game to be at Stamford Bridge because it is more comfortable for the "Blues" to play there.

It is worth recalling that Chelsea defeated Preston 4-0 in the 1/32 final. Goals were scored by Broja, Silva, Sterling, and Enzo.
