The first finalist of the ATP1000 tournament in Rome has been determined
In the first semifinal match of the ATP1000 tournament in Rome, Alexander Zverev faced Alejandro Tabilo to determine the first finalist.
The first set ended quickly with a surprising result. Alejandro Tabilo crushed Zverev 6:1 in just 32 minutes, taking the lead in the semifinal. However, in the second set, Zverev managed to regroup. Despite Tabilo being close to victory, the set extended to a tiebreak, where the world number five prevailed 7:4.
The match moved to a decisive third set, which determined the first finalist of the Rome Masters. This set also lasted 32 minutes, like the first, but this time Zverev dominated, defeating his opponent 6:2.
Thus, Alexander Zverev defeated Alejandro Tabilo with a score of 2:1 and became the first finalist of the ATP1000 tournament in Rome.
