The first Canadian in Serie A history. Inter has bought one of Brugge's leaders

Versatile full-back Tajon Buchanan has officially joined Inter Milan, leaving Brugge.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer cost Inter €7 million plus bonuses. The 24-year-old player has signed a long-term contract.

Buchanan has made history by becoming the first Canadian player in Serie A.

The 24-year-old footballer played for Brugge from January 2022. In the current season, he scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists in 20 matches across all competitions.

Buchanan has also played 35 matches and scored 4 goals for the Canadian national team. He was a key player for the team in the 2022 World Cup.
