The ball is now in the club president's court.

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Nicolò Schira on his social media page X, 67-year-old Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri has given his approval to return to Napoli.

Reports suggest that Sarri's complicated relationship with the Lazio management forced him to leave the team and accept Napoli's offer. Sarri is ready to sign a contract with Napoli until 2028, earning €2.8 million per year plus additional bonuses.

Although Sarri has already agreed to the move, the final decision now lies with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who will determine whether Sarri will lead Napoli in the new season or not.

Sarri previously managed Napoli from 2015 to 2018. During his tenure, he oversaw 148 matches at the helm of the Neapolitan giants, securing 98 victories, 25 draws, and 25 defeats.

Reminder: A tough decision! Antonio Conte has decided whether to stay at Napoli
