Borussia Dortmund suffered a dramatic defeat against Hoffenheim (2:3) in the 23rd round of the Bundesliga.

The Yellow and Blacks conceded first but responded with two precise strikes from Malen and Schlottterbeck. However, Hoffenheim not only equalized but also secured the victory thanks to Bayer's brace.

This loss marked Dortmund's first in 2024. The last defeat dated back to December 9th when they lost to Leipzig (2:3). Prior to this match, Dortmund enjoyed an undefeated streak spanning 10 matches across all competitions, with 8 of them in the Bundesliga.
