The doctor of the Brazilian national team, Rodrigo Lasmar, has stated that forward Neymar will be able to return to the field after his injury by late summer.

"We haven't even reached the halfway point of his rehabilitation yet. Only when we complete nine or ten months of physiotherapy procedures can we definitively confirm his return to the field," - Lasmar was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.

It is worth reminding that in October of last year, the 32-year-old Brazilian footballer suffered an injury — he tore his cruciate ligament while playing for the Brazilian national team in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

In the current season, Neymar has played five matches for the Saudi club Al-Hilal, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
