English side Sunderland are looking to bolster their attacking line and are preparing a move for Milan striker Santiago Gimenez. The Black Cats are planning to bring the player in on loan this January, with an obligation to buy for a fee of around €30 million.
According to La Reppublica, the English club's offer has fully satisfied the Rossoneri management. Sunderland are now working to convince Gimenez himself to agree to the switch.
Recall that the Mexican forward has yet to find his feet at Milan following his transfer from Feyenoord. This season, the striker has made 11 appearances across all competitions, recording one goal and two assists, with his contract running until the summer of 2029.
