The transfer saga surrounding Dibu Martínez has taken an unexpected turn.
Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Juventus management has informed Aston Villa that they are no longer interested in pursuing a transfer for the Argentine goalkeeper.

The decision was made internally by the Turin club several days ago, and now the Italians have officially confirmed their stance to Aston Villa’s representatives.
The main reason for the refusal was the high total cost of the operation. Juventus considered that the transfer fee, the player's salary, and related expenses would make the deal financially unfeasible.
Earlier, the Turin club had identified Martínez as their top target for the goalkeeper position and even sent the Argentine an initial contract offer. However, the parties were unable to come close to a final agreement.
It’s worth noting that Emiliano Martínez is under contract with Aston Villa until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt currently values the Argentine goalkeeper at €12 million.
