The Senegalese Football Federation has provided further details
The Senegal national team delegation will land in Dakar on Tuesday following their elimination from the 2026 World Cup.
The Lions of Teranga were due to have returned to Senegal several days ago following their elimination in the round of 32 of the World Cup, which is being held in the United States, Canada and Mexico. However, their return itinerary did not go to plan.
The players were unable to board the charter flight that had been arranged for them. As a result, they were stranded in the United States.
But they will finally be able to return home. The Senegalese Football Federation has announced that the official delegation is expected to arrive in Dakar on Tuesday 7 July 2026 at 9:15 am GMT, at Blaise Diagne International Airport.
