Ronnie Shields, the trainer of mandatory IBF heavyweight title contender Filip Hrgovic, has revealed the date of the boxer's next fight.

According to Shields, the undefeated Croatian heavyweight will return to the ring on June 1st. With a high likelihood, his next opponent will be Daniel Dubois.

"We have just found out that Hrgovic will be fighting on June 1st, and it's likely to be against Daniel Dubois in Saudi Arabia," Shields said.

It is known that on June 1st, a unification bout in the light heavyweight division between champions Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will take place in Saudi Arabia.

It is also expected that the undercard will feature a "Five vs Five" showdown, comprising five fighters from Matchroom Eddie Hearn, who will face off against five fighters from Frank Warren in Queensberry. Hrgovic is a Matchroom fighter, while Dubois is under the Queensberry banner.
