Last season, Al-Ain won the AFC Champions League, but the team is now struggling, prompting management to take decisive action.

Details: Al-Ain officially announced the dismissal of head coach Hernan Crespo. The team has been experiencing poor results, with a streak of four matches without a win: three losses and a draw. The final straw was the AFC Champions League match against Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo’s team defeated them 5-1.

In the domestic league, Al-Ain is currently in eighth place. Over five rounds, they have earned eight points, trailing the leader by ten points. In the Champions League, Crespo's team has managed only one point, placing them at the bottom of the group.

Crespo took over Al-Ain in October last year. Under his leadership, the team won the AFC Champions League and finished third in the UAE League.

Reminder: Recently, legendary Italian manager Roberto Mancini announced his departure from his role as head coach of the Saudi Arabian national team.
