The situation surrounding meldonium entering Mudryk’s system has taken a new twist.

Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, the 25-year-old Ukrainian winger from London’s Chelsea has filed a lawsuit against the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), holding one of the national team’s physiotherapists, Ihor Porobiy, responsible for Mudryk’s suspension. Mudryk claims that Porobiy administered a stem cell injection.

It’s reported that the stem cells, derived from bovine sources and injected by Porobiy, became the source of the meldonium later detected in Mykhailo’s blood, which led to the Ukrainian’s current suspension from football.

Mudryk himself has repeatedly stated publicly that he has never used banned substances, let alone intentionally.

Reminder: Liam Rosenior dissatisfied with decision on Enzo Fernández. Will the player leave the club?
