Originally scheduled to take place in Spain, the fixture will now be held in France on 9 June.

It is now official. The Leopards of the Democratic Republic of the Congo will no longer face Chile on Spanish soil. The governing body of Congolese football confirmed in a statement on 8 June that the match has been relocated due to concerns regarding the Ebola outbreak, raised by the local Spanish authorities.

Consequently, the match scheduled for Tuesday 9 June will be played in Orléans, France. However, the match will be played behind closed doors at the Stade de la Source. This will be the DR Congo’s second international friendly match following their 0-0 draw with Denmark, as part of their preparations for the World Cup.
