The condition under which Manchester United can sack ten Hag is known

Despite crashing out of the European competitions after the Champions League group stage and the current sixth place in the Premier League standings, Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag may be given a second chance, but on one condition.

According to the Manchester Evening News, if the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League, the Dutchman will remain in the team. It is also believed that the season can be considered a success in case of winning the FA Cup.

The publication notes that ten Hag's predecessors were just as likely to be sacked after failure in the championship, when the team was left out of the most prestigious European Cup.
