It looks like the much-rumored departure of Vinicius from Madrid this summer isn't going to happen.

Details: According to Sky Sports News, Real Madrid are determined to keep Vinicius Junior after the close of the summer transfer window. The club's management is confident that the Brazilian will ultimately agree to the terms of a new long-term contract.

This week, Real Madrid representatives will hold another round of talks with the player's camp. The main topic of the meeting will be the extension of his agreement, which currently runs until the summer of 2027.

Head coach José Mourinho is also eager to keep one of the team's key leaders. Meanwhile, Arsenal continue to monitor the situation, but negotiations between the clubs have not yet taken place, and the London club's interest remains at an early stage.

Sky Sports points out that, at this stage, all signs indicate that Vinicius is set to put pen to paper on a new contract with Real Madrid.

It's worth noting that Transfermarkt values the 26-year-old Brazilian winger at €140 million.

Reminder: Negotiations on the brink of collapse: Real refuse to meet Vinicius' main demand.
