Legendary striker Radamel Falcao has decided to continue his career in his home country's league. According to Fabrizio Romano, despite offers from Europe and Asia, Falcao is set to sign a contract with Colombian club Millonarios. The club and the player are currently in advanced stages of negotiations.
Interestingly, Falcao has never played in the Colombian league before. Prior to moving to Europe, he played for Argentine club River Plate, having transferred there at a young age from the academy of Lanceros Boyacá.
Falcao's last club was Spanish side Rayo Vallecano. In the previous season, he mostly came off the bench, scoring 4 goals in 26 matches across all competitions.
The 38-year-old Falcao is well-known in Europe for his performances with Atlético Madrid, Porto, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Monaco.
