The head coaches of the Spanish championship teams decided to show solidarity in one issue and for the sake of its solution are even ready to go on strike.
The reason for such drastic actions revealed Marca and it is quite simple. Coaches demand that they are not fired without a penny in their pockets, and pay them a certain allowance. Until the club pays off the old coach, it is proposed that the new one cannot direct the actions of the team from the bench.
The recent cases of Kike Setien and Cervera have caused concern among coaches, who raised the issue at the annual coaches' meeting in Las Rosas. It was attended by the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Diego Simeone, Unai Emery and many others.
Tomorrow, 4 September, the National Coaches Committee will meet with La Liga and the Spanish federation on the issue and if a consensus is not reached, the coaches are ready to start striking.
At the moment, the payment on dismissal is on hold until there is a court case, an agreement is reached and then the amount to be received is paid.
