The coach of American heavyweight Jarrell Miller, Aureliano Sosa, pointed out the primary reason for his protégé's premature defeat against Daniel Dubois.

Sosa attributed Miller's suboptimal condition during the fight to excessive weight (155 kg).

“I don’t think he was hurt. He was just exhausted. The weight definitely played a big role. It was a little bit of Dubois. He was moving a little more than we thought he would be but the weight was an issue and for some reason, the conditioning dropped after the third or fourth round. At 285-300 pounds (129-136 kg), he would be a monster.” Sosa told BoxingScene.com.

Just a reminder, Dubois and Miller entered the ring as part of the undercard for a significant boxing event on December 23. The Briton had a significant weight advantage and secured an early victory. The referee stopped the fight ten seconds before the end of the tenth round.
