The coach of Lesotho speaks very positively about Bafana Bafana!
Even after losing to Bafana Bafana by a score of 2-0, Lesotho coach Leslie Notsi did not deny the big positive state he witnessed from the South African team when he faced them on Friday evening in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier clash at The New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in a match that was not easy for the Belgian Hugo Broos team.
The match ended with two decisive goals to turn the score over to the visiting team, and the goals were scored by Jayden Adams from Mamelodi and Relibohile Mofokeng from Pirates to put Bafana Bafana at the top of the standings table with ten points.
Notsi spoke with great admiration and appreciation about the great work that Hugo Broos is doing with the South African national team, saying:
You know, tactically, they have improved a lot. So, there is a lot of speed that they play with,” said Notsi in Polokwane. “Another thing is the core of the team. I mean, when you look at it, it is made up of the [players from] teams that are doing well. They are doing well internationally in the CAF inter-club competitions.
Leslie Notsi said.
So, the exposure that they have and how they conduct themselves in their respective clubs, you would expect to have a team like the current one. Also, the self-belief is there. But, it is something that has always been there for the South African football national teams.
