The transfer of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool is all but complete. According to Bild, both parties have reached a fundamental agreement, and the move of the 21-year-old attacking midfielder is now just a matter of time.

The English club has tabled an offer of around £113 million for the German prodigy—slightly below Bayer’s £125 million asking price—but the deal is already nearing its final stage.

At Anfield, Wirtz is expected to sign a five-year contract with a weekly wage of approximately £340,000—making him one of the highest-paid players at the club.

Wirtz is currently with the German national team, but he is expected to undergo his medical in Liverpool as early as next week.
