The Club World Cup. The bronze medalist of the tournament has been determined

On Friday, December 22, in Saudi Arabia, the match for the bronze medals of the Club World Cup took place. Urawa from Japan and Al-Ahly from Egypt competed for the medals.

Al-Ahly had a strong start to the match. In the 19th minute, Yasser Ibrahim opened the scoring, and six minutes later, Percy Tau doubled the lead for the Egyptian team. Overall, Al-Ahly controlled the course of the match, but Urawa managed to respond with a goal at the end of the first half. In the 43rd minute, Kante reduced the deficit.

After the break, the Japanese team earned a penalty and equalized, thanks to a goal from Scholz. However, six minutes later, Urawa midfielder Koizumi scored an own goal. In the 75th minute, Al-Ahly missed a chance, with Maaloul failing to score at that moment. In injury time, this player redeemed himself and set the final score in the match - 4:2.
