General Manager Kyle Davidson confirmed that the Chicago Blackhawks have decided to part ways with forward Corey Perry, ESPN report's.

Last week, the team's office received reports of unacceptable behavior by the player towards club staff, leading to an internal investigation and the organization's decision to terminate the working relationship with the 38-year-old player.

Davidson denied rumors of any involvement of other players or their families.

Corey Perry is a professional Canadian hockey player, a forward for the NHL team Chicago Blackhawks. He won the Stanley Cup in 2007 with the Anaheim Ducks, the World Cup in 2016, and is a two-time Olympic champion (2010 and 2014) and the 2016 World Champion with Team Canada.

Since May 22, 2016, he has been a member of the "Triple Gold Club." Perry was awarded the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player for the 2010/11 season. He has participated in three NHL All-Star Games (2008, 2011, 2012) and leads all active NHL players in career penalty minutes.
