Torino hosted the reigning Italian champions, Napoli, on their home ground in the 19th round of Serie A. The teams were four points apart in the league standings before the match.

The first half lacked significant action until Antonio Sanabria, assisted by Duvan Zapata, put the hosts ahead just before the break.

At the start of the second half, things turned sour for Napoli: Pascual Mazzocchi, who had just come on as a substitute, received a straight red card for disrupting an attack. Torino swiftly capitalized on their numerical advantage: a few minutes later, Nikola Vlasic doubled the home side's lead. Alessandro Buongiorno sealed the fate of the guests.

Napoli couldn't even answer back with a consolation goal, leaving Turin empty-handed.

With 28 points, Napoli now occupies the nine position in the Serie A table. The Blues have only won one of their last five league matches. Torino has gathered 27 points, currently sitting in tenth place.
