Last night, the UFC 300 tournament took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

The main event of the show was a bout for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship (up to 93 kg) between the Brazilian titleholder Alex Pereira and former champion in this weight class, American Jamal Hill. The fighters began the bout aggressively, and in the first round, the champion knocked down his opponent with a left head strike, following which he finished him on the canvas, leading to the referee stopping the match and awarding Pereira the victory.

The second most significant bout featured the defense of the championship title among women in the minimum weight category (up to 52.2 kg). Two Chinese fighters, reigning champion Weili Zhang and challenger Yan Xiaonan, squared off in the octagon. Zhang came close to an early victory several times, but her opponent held on until the end, and the winner had to be determined by the judges. Zhang secured the victory by unanimous decision, thus defending her title.

This tournament also featured an unforgettable fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway. The fighters exchanged blows throughout the match, inflicting significant damage on each other. The advantage seemed to be on Holloway's side, who, seconds before the end of the fight, engaged in an exchange of blows with Gaethje and managed to knock him out one second before the final bell.
