The CAF plans to hold the draw for the preliminary rounds of the 2026–2027 Champions League and Confederation Cup in August

The governing body of African football would like to organise the ceremony on the sidelines of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which is due to take place this summer.
Clubs competing in next season’s CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup are set to find out who their opponents will be next August. According to reports, the Confederation of African Football plans to hold the draw for both competitions before 10 August 2026.
The draw is expected to take place in Rabat, Morocco, on the sidelines of the 2026 African Women’s Nations Cup, scheduled for 26 July to 16 August.
