The NBA team Boston Celtics secured a victory against Oklahoma with a scoreline of 135:100 on Thursday, April 4th.

The club announced via its social media channels that this marked their 60th triumph in the current regular championship. Remarkably, this is the fourteenth instance in their history that the Celtics have achieved at least 60 victories, setting an absolute league record in this regard. The last time the team accomplished this feat was in the 2008/09 season. For perspective, the Lakers are in second place with 11 such seasons.

Furthermore, the NBA club Boston Celtics clinched the top spot in the Eastern Conference prematurely. This marks the third time, since 1988, that the Celtics have achieved this feat (in 2008 and 2017). Between 1980 and 1988, Boston topped the conference eight times in nine seasons.

In other news, the Toronto Raptors faced a defeat on the road against Minnesota, with a score of 85:133. The point difference of -48 marks the largest defeat in the history of the Canadian team's franchise. The previous record was set in April 1996.
